Machine Operator
**Job Summary:** Adecco is hiring a skilled and motivated **Machine Operator** to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience operating assembly machines, specifically in the production of concrete accessories such as snap ties. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring machine efficiency, performing quality control checks, and troubleshooting basic machine issues, particularly in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Operate Assembly Machines:** Safely and efficiently operate machines used in the production of snap ties, ensuring consistent product quality and timely completion of orders. + **Measurement & Inspection:** Accurately use tape measures and calipers to measure steel thickness and verify product specifications are met, adhering to quality standards. + **Troubleshoot & Maintain Machines:** Diagnose and resolve issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems to keep machines running smoothly. Perform regular maintenance tasks including lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements. + **Quality Control:** Regularly inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Perform quality checks and document findings. + **Safety Compliance:** Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Proactively report safety concerns or hazards. + **Documentation:** Maintain precise and up-to-date records for production, maintenance logs, and quality checks to track machine performance and output. + **Team Collaboration:** Work with supervisors, peers, and other departments to improve production processes, troubleshoot issues, and meet daily targets. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** High school diploma or GED required. Technical training or certification in machine operation, pneumatics, or hydraulics is a plus. + **Experience:** At least 2 years of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing or assembly environment. Experience with snap tie assembly or related products is preferred. + **Technical Skills:** + Proficiency in using tape measures and calipers to measure steel thickness accurately. + Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics systems for troubleshooting. + **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential. + **Attention to Detail:** Must be committed to ensuring the highest product quality and adhering to manufacturing standards. + **Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain efficient machine operation. + **Communication Skills:** Good verbal and written communication skills.
