Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

Candidates will be working on the end of a mill, packing boxes, deburring tubes, moving tubes across the facility, and assisting the mill operator. They will also be responsible for quality control using measuring tools. As they get comfortable with the machine (2-4 months), they will begin training to become an operator. The work is physically demanding and requires lifting up to 50lbs.

Enjoy a $1.00/hr shift premium for night shifts, a $1 raise at 3 months, and additional raises at 6 and 9 months. Full benefits are covered after a 3-month probation period. Top wages for mill assistants can reach around $30/hr as you train to become an operator over a few years.

Work Environment

Work in an automotive manufacturing setting, producing stainless steel tubing for bus frames, exhaust pipes, airbags, and tubing. The environment is very social, with teams of 3-5 people, ensuring that you are always working with at least one other person.
