Job Description

Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.Work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.Load and unload items on the production line, including packaging or unpacking products.Start and stop the production line as needed to keep up with workflow and prevent potential safety hazards.Inspect products for defects and pull items off the line before they proceed further in the production process.Produce products within 100% specification as requested by the customer.Deliver products to meet scheduled customer demands and meet quality objectives.Work with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.Read and understand a ruler and traceability records.Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Essential SkillsAbility to interpret a variety of technical instructions.Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a ruler.Ability to run and operate similar equipment.3+ years’ experience with operating machinery and inspection in a similar function or environment.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsDisplay knowledge of key areas of the manufacturing process.Experience with production, machine operation, assembly, machine operating, general production, hand tools, and tape measures.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.26/hr.
