Job Description
We are looking to increase our team to keep up with demand. We seek individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and ideally similar machine operating experience to join our team and relieve some pressure off the current staff. Candidates will be wearing various hats on the floor.
ResponsibilitiesOperate press brakes and other bending equipment to fabricate sheet metal components.Perform general fabrication tasks, including cutting, forming, inserting hardware, spot welding, and assembly of metal parts.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production.Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and company policies.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet deadlines.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and fabrication processes as needed.Keep accurate records of production activities and report any discrepancies or concerns.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical aptitudeGood computer skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsPrior machine operating experienceAbility to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.)Robot programmingMachine set upCNC programmingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAny prior experience with specific machines, as familiarity with the software will make learning set up easierExperience with Trumpf machines is beneficialPrior experience with robotics and automated processesProgramming experience for robotics/CNC machinesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The schedule is from 6:30 am - 3 pm, with the potential for a second shift in the future, though new candidates will not be placed on the second shift. The shop environment is very clean and well-lit, with updated and top-of-the-line machines. It is not a loud environment. Steel and composite shoes, in addition to safety glasses, are required while operating.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
