Machine Operator

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used to produce fencing rolls. This includes pulling rolls from the machine, tying them up, and organizing them for shipping or storage. This role is essential to ensure the quality and efficiency of our production process.
Responsibilities: Operate weaving machines and other equipment used in the production of fencing rolls. Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and quality output. Pull completed fencing rolls off the machine, tie them securely, and prepare them for placement on pallets. Organize finished rolls on pallets for storage or shipment, ensuring proper stacking and labeling. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Perform quality checks to ensure finished fencing rolls meet company standards. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications: Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Physical ability to lift, pull, and move rolls of fencing (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Basic mechanical skills and the ability to perform minor adjustments to machinery. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Pay rate $23/hr. Mon- Thur 4am to 2:30pm.
