Our client in the Deerfield Beach, FL area is looking to hire a Bindery Lead Operator for their location. The ideal candidate will need to be computer literate in a Windows environment. Responsibilities include following the QC Checklist at the startup of the job and monitoring quality throughout the job using Bindery practices such as comparing to the Sherpa, Mockup, One-Sheet, or any other documentation provided.

The Day-to-Day:

Setup and adjust all ancillary components like feed hoppers, autoloader, cameras, turnover, inkjet, and tabbing equipment.Setup and operate a variety of Bindery equipment such as Tippers, Folders, Cutters, Stitchers, Die Cutters, and Laminators, etc.Oversee several machines at once while instructing Loaders, Packers, and Material handlers to perform tasks relevant to Bindery Operations.Routine checks to make sure that the Bindery equipment is running at maximum productivity.Verify and load the correct mail piece component in sequence into Bindery machines following directions in the job ticket.Follow all safety guidelines as outlined in machine manuals and Bindery procedures.Ensure all machine guards are in place.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaBilingual in English and Spanish is a big plusAbility to work at a fast continuous pace.Ability to Temporarily fill in for shift supervisor if necessary.Must have the ability to work weekends and/or 5 to 6 days per week

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$16.00 to $18.00 /hr6:30 PM to 6:30 AM (training on day shift 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM)
