Schedule: Rotating 2/2/3 schedule with 12 hour shifts
Hours: 2nd shift 6:00 pm to 6:30 am

Operate machines and equipment used in the manufacturing of products and will work with other employees to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates. Machine Operators must have a basic knowledge of how to set up, operate and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment. Machine Operators must obtain a basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques.

Adheres to company safety, conduct sanitation, and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in all areas of responsibilityFollows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)Responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining assigned production line equipmentCapable of efficient and timely start up for production runs 3. Capable of trouble shooting assigned equipment during production runsComplete required documentation (weights, time checks, and sign off sheets) in an accurate and timely mannerPerform line checks and testing as requiredAssist line associates to attain performance criteria as it relates to Safety, Quality and ProductivityRespond to changes on packaging to assist line associates and maintain efficiencies

Qualifications

Completion of 90-day new hire probationary period.Proficient on one (1) piece of production line equipment as outlined in the operator training planKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Employee must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures established by the company. Job tasks may also involve:Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures.  Compliant with the uniform policy.Lifting up to 50 pounds, anything over should seek assistance.Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion.
