The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Operating manufacturing equipment/powered equipment and tools * Working safely and complying with all safety regulations, processes and procedures. * Following specific directions * Other duties as assigned Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to work any shift or schedule in a 2-shift operation, as well as overtime as required both daily and/or weekly. * Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills. * Ability to lift 50 pounds (+/-) consistently, as well as pushing, pulling, manipulating knobs and buttons, crouching, bending, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive motions. * Must have reliable transportation * Prior manufacturing experience strongly preferred Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
