Hourly Rate: $22.63 an hour

Job Summary:

The Blender will perform a variety of tasks including completing required paperwork, verifying and blending ingredients into sauces according to instructions, inspection of work environment including sanitizing equipment and ensuring the blend room has no condensation, cleaning machine parts, tools, utensils and work area ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards are met.

Starting pay up to $22.63 per hour + Attendance Bonus! ($0.50 for first shift and $0.60 for second shift)

You will be onsite at the facility located in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As a blender, you will report to the operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

Obtain all required paperwork for shiftCheck pipes and doors for loose partsDry condensation in blend roomSanitize equipmentReview requisition and batch sheets to ensure all items and quantities received are correctPerform scale audits and complete batch checklistMeasure and blend ingredients into sauce according to batch sheet instructionsMonitor blending processClean machine parts, tools, utensils and work area ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards are metComplete all required paperwork and document critical dataMay perform general labor tasks as assigned

You Have

Knowledge of GMP's and food allergensIdentify Critical Control Points (CCP)Knowledge of the 5S conceptBasic knowledge of computersWork with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: Minimum 3 months production or related experience preferred.
