Job Description

The Carton Assembler is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. If you are a team-player that is looking to grow with an organization, we want to hear from you! 

Schedule: 8 hour rotating shifts (rotates between 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts – your days off rotate as well) 

The Carton Assembler should have:

Strong mechanical aptitudeGood interpersonal skillsBe highly safety conscious

The Carton Assembler will:

Manually load cartons, partitions, carriers on to magazines of carton assembler, carrier erector, partition inserter and sees that these machines continue to operate and function as designed to do. Involves some button pushing.Clear any jams that impede the production lineInspects cartons and bottles for any obvious defectsMinor maintenance to ensure the palletizers are working smoothlyObserves cartons for obvious defects, checks fiber tears; notifies foreman of any defects found.

 

Qualifications

Carton Assembler qualifications:

At least 18 years of age.High School Graduate or GED.Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basisMust be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
