Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry located in South Milwaukee, WI, is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our 2nd shift. This position currently pays $23.87/hour. In this role, you will learn a variety of jobs in our Molding Department.
Some of the benefits for this position include a $.75/hour shift differential, overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards Read and use process sheets, control panels and other relevant quality documents Set-up and operate machine based on work order Maintain machine uptime and ensure quality of castings Perform pre-check forklift inspections Observe all company rules and regulationsFor This Role, You Will Need:
High school diploma or GED Previous machine operator experience Ability to stand on feet for long periods, strength in arms and legs to maneuver castings and patterns Ability to work in a hot environment
