This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

•\tExecutes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. •\tOperates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions. •\tPerforms routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fits simple replacement parts. •\tEnsures the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to defined workflow. •\tEnsures regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tool set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoots and reports issues, if any.•\tMaintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities.•\tMaintains detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.•\tKeeps track of approved, defective units, and final products

Qualifications for the role

\tHigh school diploma or equivalent required\tLegal authorization to work in the US is required\tKnowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools.\tKnowledge of 5S – sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain\tKnowledge and use of necessary PPE\tAbility to use crane or other lifting devices, as needed\tAbility to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed\tAbility to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs\tAbility to speak, read, and write the English Language\tBasic computer skills to be able to look up parts.\tBasic mathematical skills\tBasic communication skills\tHand, eye coordination skills and use of both hands
