As a Refurbishment Machine Operator, Level 1 ; you will lean to run CNC Milling Centre machines and you will have the opportunity to be cross trained in Quality parts inspections. You are willing to learn and thrive in a team environment . ​

Position works onsite at our Pueblo, Colorado Facility.

Shift Schedule: 4 days on then 4 days off, rotating between days and evenings every two months.

Shift Hours:  6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Days. 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. nights.

What You Will Do

Learn all necessary machining operations, understand product flow Learn the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Learn to effectively read blueprints including geometrical dimension and tolerance (GD&T)

Perform set-up and operate equipment including but not limited to: CNC mills/lathes, Engraver, Scale, Computer, Hardware Press, Drill Press, Bead Blaster and Bake-Out furnace

Operate required gauging to perform and/or inspect work

Learn the use of the Refurbishment MES system

Become qualified to perform first piece inspections within 6 months of hire/transfer into the department

Obtain a Big Joe License within three months of hire/transfer into the department

Obtain a Forklift License within three months of hire/transfer into the department

Participate to problem solve and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions

Perform other duties as required

Qualifications You Must Have

HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, and typically 2 years of relevant experience is required

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Qualifications We Prefer

Mechanical aptitude

The salary range for this role is $32,300 to $43,500 however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
