Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry. **About the role:** The Machine Operator (Injector Molding) will be responsible for setting up the injection molding machine to provide a quality product in a timely and efficient manner. This position also requires some knowledge of the injection molding processes and procedures as well as promotes a safe work environment. **Available shifts: (Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM & 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)** **What you will do:** + Set up and operate the injection molding machine + Identify sucker rod grades, mold, guide style and material being used as per the work order + Ensure good quality of the rod guides by cleaning the flashing and painting the specific part of the sucker rods with inhibitor + Maintain accurate records related to the activity of the shift + Confers with technical personnel and managers/supervisors to report and resolve assembly and testing problems, and reports unresolved problems + Feed resin to the injection molding machines, weigh and record the usage in the material usage form + Inspect production and eliminate defective parts + Clean and maintain the machine and surrounding areas at the end of the shift + Perform routine maintenance of the equipment to maintain perfect functioning + Respect the safety procedures and ensure proper use of PPE + Performs other routine duties **What you will have:** + High School diploma or general education diploma (GED); with 1 year of experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.  **Employee benefit details** Our goal at Caterpillar is for you to have a rewarding career.
