Machine Operator Pharma Environment 2nd Shift
**Job Title: Microarray Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator (Microarray Machine) to join our 2nd shift team from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays. The role involves supervising and setting up microarray machines, ensuring quality production output, and maintaining compliance with GMP, safety, and PPE standards. **Responsibilities** + Assist in setting the daily schedule, priorities, and task delegation. + Supervise and set up machines (microarrayers), including changeovers, troubleshooting, and handling defective products. + Monitor team members for quality production output using PLC controls, routine quality inspections, integrity testing, and visual inspections. + Track the number of rejected products for defects during quality checks and notify the management team. + Perform data entry into the ERP (Oracle and Oracle) on a regular basis. + Follow work instructions, product specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality data. + Utilize lab equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, Bio-safety cabinets (BSC), and degas systems to provide material for running microarrayers. + Share knowledge and train co-workers/new hires where applicable. + Perform equipment preventative maintenance as required. + Conduct quarterly maintenance activities, such as cleaning the cleanrooms. + Follow designated GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards. + Handle and discard hazardous materials properly. + Follow daily and weekly lab cleaning routines utilizing 5S principles. + Meet daily production goals and minimize downtime. + Effectively communicate with the management team and maintenance functions. + Participate and attend department and company meetings. + Adhere to the attendance policy. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience working in an FDA-approved cleanroom. + High attention to detail. + Experience operating more than one machine. + Experience wearing PPE. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Machine operation experience. + Production experience. + Cleanroom experience. + Feeder operation experience. + Knowledge of PLCs. + Understanding of ISO standards. + Medical device inspection experience. + Computer operation skills. **Why Work Here?** When you join our team, you become part of a group dedicated to improving lives through impactful work.
