Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - Second Shift. ​

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.The hours for second shift are as follows, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm or 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for producing a quality part efficientlyStart up and operate extrusion equipment safely and properlyProduce quality parts consistently and efficientlySet up jobs utilizing the proper installation of dies, adapters, breaker plates and screen packsTake necessary steps to leave extruder and downstream equipment ready for next jobClean screw installation

All manufacturing employees at Williamsport are also responsible for: 

Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standardsComplying with all work and process instructionsIdentifying improvement opportunitiesUtilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the jobWorking safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or EatonQualifications:

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institutionAble to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the futureAble to lift up to 40 lbsReside within a 50-mile radius of Williamsport, MDNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Candidates who are active duty military members are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
