Job Description

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN 8 HOUR, ROTATING SCHEUDLE

The Machine Operator / Selector  is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry.  This role is responsible for loading cartons, carriers and partitions on the carton assembler.  They will also observe production lines to ensure they are running smoothly and there are no impediments.  If you are a team-player that is looking to grow with an organization, we want to speak with you! 

The Machine Operator / Selector   will:

Manually load cartons, carriers and partitions on the assemblerClear any jams that impede the production lineVisually inspect cartons and bottles for any obvious defectsOccasionally reselect packed product as instructed

The Machine Operator / Selector   should have:

Strong mechanical aptitudeGood interpersonal skillsBe highly safety conscious

Qualifications

Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements

At least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GEDTechnical degree is preferred, but not requiredPrevious industrial experience is a plusMust be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
