**Job Description** This position involves overseeing a machine that extrudes a plastic coating on the outside of the bare copper wire in the manufacturing process or copper coaxial cable and other wires used in data transfer and communication. The role requires setting up the machine correctly for the product being produced and using basic hand tools to switch and adjust tooling as needed. It involves monitoring raw materials, ensuring efficient and accurate product flow, and conducting periodic quality checks using various measuring tools. The position demands multitasking, following standard operating procedures, and documenting results on a computer. Time management is critical as the role involves moving between stations to load/unload spools and manage the production process. **Schedule & Hours** + Third = 7pm - 7am (Rotating Schedule) - $22.25 per hour **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate extrusion machine for coating copper wire. + Use basic hand tools to switch and adjust tooling. + Monitor the flow and supply of raw materials. + Identify and resolve issues to ensure efficient product flow. + Conduct periodic quality checks using measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Follow a Master Sheet and Process Sheet to ensure correct production schedule and procedures. + Document measurements and production results on a computer. + Manage time effectively to move between stations for loading/unloading spools and managing the production process. **Essential Skills** + Machine operating experience + Ability to follow specific instructions + Basic computer skills for documenting and tracking production + Attention to detail + Time management skills **Why Work Here?** This position offers great opportunities for growth and development, with potential for increased pay as you prove yourself.
