Machine Operator Employee Pay: $20.00-$21.00 hourly

Machine Operator Start Date: ASAP

Machine Operator Schedule: 6:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday plus weekends, as needed

\n\n

We are seeking an entry level Machine Operator for a temporary opportunity with our client, a local aerospace organization! The Machine Operators are responsible for the assembly and production of quality products and work in a variety of work-cells, utilizing an assortment of handheld tools to assemble components and final packaging. The Machine Operator also participates in quality checks, visual inspection, reject accountability, and record keeping.

The Machine Operator job duties:

\n\n\n\t\n\t

Verifies that correct components are used.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Follows all established procedures and policies.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Performs necessary quality checks relative to the operation.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Performs visual inspections during process operation per procedure.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Inspects components, materials, and products for proper identification, acceptable quality, and correct quantity.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Ensures manufacturing equipment has necessary supplies and materials for the operation.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Reports quality deviations to the lead person/machine attendant.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Performs line clearances.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Completes appropriate documentation.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Performs cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of designated manufacturing areas.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Maintains work area in neat and orderly condition.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Adheres to all safety and good housekeeping regulations.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Performs all other duties as assigned by Lead/Supervisor.

\n\t\n\n\n

\nThe Machine Operator job requirements:

\n\n\n\t\n\t

Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience (medical device manufacturing preferred).

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Minimum education requirement of high school diploma, GED, or higher.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Good communication skills with the ability to read, write, and understand job instructions in English.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Ability to work quickly and independently.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Ability to work with numbers and perform calculations or conversions.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Basic computer skills.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Attention to detail and accuracy.

\n\t\n\t\n\t

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
