Tasks and Responsibilities: Rate up to $36/Hr

Understand the operation of and be able to troubleshoot and repair axis and spindle drives, both mechanically and electrically.  Be capable of trouble shooting and repairing of all machines in the following areas, but not limited to, Bevel gear cutting machines, Grinders, Gear Grinders, Machining Centers, Heat Treat equipment, Turning Machines, Gear Hobbers, Gear Shapers, and all specialty machine areas.  Assist OEM representatives in the setup and alignment of new equipment.  Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per standard operating procedures.  Perform all other duties assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement. 

 

Apprentice:

Required to fulfill all requirements of the Machine Repair Apprentice Program in accordance with the Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program.  Perform all other duties as assigned by Management according to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Skilled Trades Supplement

 

Education and work Experience:

Apprenticeship - 5 years or more in the trade preferred, but not required.

Journeyman - Applicants must have a journeyman card or have eight (8) years of documented experience in this trade.
