About the role:
As a Machining Manufacturing Engineer you will support the Engineering Departments in all the activities related to the CNC programming.
You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located in Italy. This is a 100% on-site position and you'll perform your work from our plant in Monfalcone.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical processing phases, assessing the use of special equipment to be manufactured or purchased Evaluate the movements of components related to machinery activities, providing support for any safety aspects related to the handling of parts Estimate the time for single or series processing, considering the times for preparing equipment, alignment, tool contact, and downtime (lead time) Develop CNC programs, including tool path simulation and tool management In cooperation with CNC programmers, suggest improvements in the methodologies typically used Support programmers with specific problems and, if necessary, takes charge of finding the solution by also relying on external suppliers and technicians follow the development of the software and the customization of the same to improve the 'output' of the CAM department Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical High School Diploma with 10 years of experience From 5 to 10 years of experience as CNC programmer (good understanding of technical drawings and the standards - ability to understand complex structures projects - familiarity with chip removal processes - knowledge of the most common materials used for constructing items to be used in a mechanical environment) Expertise in using CAD - CAD/CAM Italian end English language proficiency#LI-Onsite
