Machinist, T Lathe - 2nd Shift Job Details Job Location Wisconsin Centrifugal - Waukesha, WI Position Type Full Time Salary Range $21.22 - $31.85 Hourly Description + Set up, adjust and operate tracer lathes, cutoff saw and miscellaneous machining equipment to perform a variety of machining operations of a roughing nature and standardized work to close tolerances. + Speeds, feeds and operational sequences usually established but operator may adjust or modify within standard machining practice. + Work from routings, process sheets and blueprints to perform roughing operations. Select tools to meet requirements and operating conditions. + Ensure heat number traceability. + Initiate process change requests and maintain accurate records of operations. + Perform machine clean-outs and other general labor as needed. Qualifications + General knowledge of machining practices. + Knowledge of shop math and blueprints. + Experience with precision measuring instruments. + Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and perform repetitive, heavy pushing and pulling.
