For our Arnage site (approx. 260 employees), we are looking for a machinist to carry out machining operations on foundry pump bodies. 

The tasks described in this job description are not limitative. They may change depending on the external and internal context.  

Responsibilities:

Machining of foundry pump casings, adjustment of parts in various materials (cast iron, steel, stainless steel, duplex, bronze) on a conventional vertical lathe, in a unit or medium series environment. 

The machinist is responsible for the quality of his production in a context where compliance with safety rules is paramount. 

The machinist masters the machining of castings (rough balancing). 

Their knowledge of vertical turning enables them to train operators on production equipment.

Requirements:

The job is accessible from a Bac level with 5 years of experience minimum. 

Certifications : Pontier-Elingueur.
