**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with at least 2+ years of experience. Candidates must be able to perform their own set-ups and runs on the machine with minimal training and direction. An excellent understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential. Proficiency in utilizing Fanuc Controls is also required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform set-ups and runs on CNC mill machines.
+ Utilize height gauges, calipers, and micrometers accurately.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precision in machining.
+ Operate and manage Fanuc Controls at the machine.
+ Work with Haas, Kia, and Doosan brand machines.
+ Handle 3 Axis Mill and Mill Turn Lathes with live milling tooling and twin spindle.
+ Run a cell of two machines efficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2+ years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.
+ Proficiency in performing set-ups and runs independently.
+ Strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with Fanuc Controls.
+ Familiarity with Haas, Kia, and Doosan brand machines.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with 3 Axis-Kia's and Fanuc Controls.
+ Having own tools is convenient but not necessary.
+ Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others in the workplace.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a CNC machine shop with around 50 employees, fostering a close-knit and collaborative atmosphere. The shop is climate-controlled, and the standard working hours for the 1st shift are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for early starts, overtime, and Saturday shifts from 7 am to noon. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
