Job Description
This position will be responsible for helping to produce high-quality manufactured products used all over the world. The successful candidate will set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts.
ResponsibilitiesPerforming quality inspections on products.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.Operate machines to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls as required.Verify conformance of finished workpieces using measuring and inspection tools.Set up and operate machines to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.Essential SkillsCNC machine operationReading blueprintsLathe and mill operationQuality inspectionMachine operationAdditional Skills & QualificationsStrong math aptitudeAttention to detail and sense of urgencyStrong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilitiesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentStrong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skillsAbility to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to safely lift up to 50 poundsPrior machining experiencePossession of a 2-year associate's degree in either a tool and die or machining degreeWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
2nd Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm - 1am. Dress Code: Steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a shirt.
