Perform machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection of parts to meet print and operation sheet specifications using various conventional, CNC, and sheet metal machines, along with general laborer tasks in a sheet metal/machine shop environment.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma. Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn and interpret operation sheets and blueprints. Knowledge of thread sizes, including coarse, fine, metric, and standard. Experience with stock cutting saws. Experience with large Proceco wash stations. Proficiency in burr bench work.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with various measuring devices, including standard gauges, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, and depth gauges.

Job Responsibilities

Operate conventional, CNC, and sheet metal machines such as saws, riveters, fasteners, setters, presses, and spot welders. Utilize hand tools, including grinders and Helicoil installation tools. Perform secondary operations during machine cycles, including deburring and straightening. Conduct general labor tasks such as grinding and sanding weldments, straightening parts, washing parts/assemblies, assisting painters with prep work, and sand/shot blasting. Inspect parts using various measuring devices to ensure compliance with specifications.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
