Summary: Seeking a Machinist to set up and operate machine tools, read blueprints, and perform preventative maintenance in a busy manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent. Trained to run typical shop equipment such as lathe, mill, grinder, and drill press.

Preferred Skills:

1-3 years prior industrial experience.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate machine tools like mills, lathes, grinders, and drill press. Read blueprints and machine parts to print tolerances. Calculate feeds and speeds; adjust for cutting conditions to optimize processing. Perform preventative maintenance on machines. Maintain housekeeping of the work area to the 5S shop standard.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $42.00 per hour
