Element has an opportunity for a Machinist to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Machining position performs a variety of routine and non-routine machining assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities Use cutting equipment to prepare specimens for testing as dictated in customer specificationsDesign, sets-up and perform a variety of machining tasks according to customer specifications and requirementsMachine samples using milling, grinding, manual lathe and CNC lathe machines, help in cutting on bandsaw as requiredMaintain HSE and 5S standardsAssist Supervisor in scheduling and managing work schedules as required Skills / Qualifications Must possess Diploma or any relevant CertificationsMore than 5 years of experience in the machine-shop will be of advantageDepth of understanding related to machining concepts, measuring instruments and dimensional conceptsWorking knowledge of machine shop safety protocol & 5S requirementsFlexible to work in other departments/ on-site, shifts and/ or overtime as required by business demands Company Overview
