**Job Title: Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work to blueprints, sketches, design drawings, sample parts, and other similar information, adhering to required tolerances. This role involves performing tool proving, training functions related to all turning and/or non-turning operations, and ensuring the dimensions of work are precise. **Responsibilities** + Work to blueprints, sketches, design drawings, sample parts, and other similar information. + Perform tool proving and training functions related to all turning and/or non-turning operations. + Mount, align, and secure work-holders, work, tool-holder, attachments, tapes, programs, and precision measuring attachments. + Check dimensions of work to ensure accuracy. + Follow a general plan of operation including blueprints, sketches, process sheets, and operation sheets. **Essential Skills** + 5 years of experience as a machinist. + Experience with both milling and lathe operations. + 5-axis CNC experience. + Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or a combination of 4 years of work experience or industry courses in machining (eligible for Trade Certification). + Trade Certification (asset). + 3-5 years of experience as a Machinist, Tool & Die maker, or machining tool operator. + Work experience in Aerospace preferred. + Ability to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods and Contract Security clearances. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive salary, an attractive benefits package, and a generous company pension plan.
