Job Title: Machinist

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating and maintaining CNC machines, manual lathes, and milling machines. You’ll be responsible for interpreting blueprints and producing precise parts and components from a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, manual lathes, and milling machines.Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine specifications and production processes.Machine components to required tolerances and quality standards.Perform routine maintenance and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.Ensure all parts meet safety, quality, and accuracy standards.Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.Work with various materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.Ensure a clean and organized work area while maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.

Essential Skills:

5 years of experience in machining.Proficiency in operating CNC machines, manual lathes, and milling machines.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Experience working with various materials, including metals and plastics.Knowledge of machine tool calibration and preventive maintenance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
