Job Description
We are seeking a machinist apprentice to join our maintenance department. The candidate will be responsible for machining parts using manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and drill presses, as well as welding using torch, MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. Additional responsibilities include fabricating, reading blueprints, repairing machines on the floor, and troubleshooting conveyors and other machinery such as heaters, extruders, mixers, rollers, mixing processes, and boxing machines.

We offer a competitive pay rate for the area, along with a $2000 sign-on bonus paid out over four months and a $250 monthly attendance bonus for perfect attendance. Our benefits package includes full medical, dental, vision, and 401k options. You'll start with 90 hours of PTO, which increases to 120 hours after three years. We also provide turkeys or hams for Thanksgiving, host a holiday party for employees and their significant others with a $300 year-end bonus, and foster a relaxed work environment. Uniforms are provided after 90 days. We also offer anniversary awards for service, including pure gold awards handed out by the president/CEO.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00
1. pay is good for the area
2. $2000 sign on bonus paid out over 4 months ($500/month)
