Job Responsibilities
Fabricate precision tooling and prototype parts Thorough knowledge and ability to set-up and operate lathes, mills and surface grindersMaintain and repair hot runner systemsCNC set-up, program and operateMaintain, repair and retrofit injection mold componentsWeld, fabricate, rework or maintain tools, tooling, assemblies, manufacturing parts, production items and plant infrastructureInspect and correct welds as necessary to meet production specificationsWork with engineers, and process technicians in regard to mold repairs, and repair in the machineFollows all safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards Requirements High School Diploma or GED required3-5 years experience in a machinist environment preferredJourneyman tool and die/machinist card is a plusMust be willing to stay current with technology through continuous educationExcellent communication skills internally and externallyNeeds to be a strong team player, with exceptional organization and problem solving skillsKnowledge of TIG weldingGibbs Cam and SolidWorks knowledge a plusBackground in injection molding with the ability to maintain, repair and trouble shoot injection molds is a plus
