Machinist I Location : UNION CITY, PA, United States Job Family : Manufacturing Job Type : Regular Posted : Feb 21, 2025 Job ID : 54903 Back to Search Results Job Description Apply Now > Save JobJob Saved Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: + Operate machines by loading bar stock and unloading parts from the machine. + Perform machine adjustments to achieve the correct dimensions, finishes and quality. + Troubleshoot tooling issues on the machine as needed. + Effectively preset tooling prior to placing into machine. + Perform any necessary machine adjustments or repairs in a safe manner. + Identify when tooling needs replaced and change tooling effectively. + Understand and follow work instructions, set-up sheets, routers, inspection plans and be able to properly set-up machines per customer requirements. + Effectively gauge and measure parts produced + 5S work area on a daily basis. + Assist other departments with projects as needed. + Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor. Education/Experience: + High School Diploma or equivalent is required. + Familiarity with micrometers and other measuring devices. + Knowledge of G code preferred + Understand and complies with ISO procedures + Ability to read routers and blueprint drawings + Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
