As a Machinist II with PCB Piezotronics, Inc, you will work from drawings and/or written instructions, set up and operate a variety of manual or CNC machinery and equipment to produce precision parts.
Additional Duties:
Skilled in at least one work center and performs specific machinist functions. May have ability to set up and troubleshoot machines within work center. Ability to prove out and set up proven programs for production. Provides instruction and training to employees in other positions within the Machine Shop. Verifies conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to tolerance and company specifications.Identifies dull or worn inserts or tools and makes changes as necessary.Makes tool offsets as required.Completes preventative maintenance as required.Regularly uses microscope and other high end measuring equipment to view and inspect parts. Performs other related duties as directed.Minimum Qualifications:
Education
High school graduate; or GEDBOCES Machine Shop classes; or Skilled trade school graduatePreferred Experience
