In this Role, Your responsibilities will be:
Responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints including GD&T Read and perform basic edits to programs in G-Code and or Mazatrol Conversational style coding; work to identify areas of opportunity to improve program efficiency. Identify, document and dispose of scrap. Must load parts and/or bar stock into and out of CNC machine(s). Operate multiple machines simultaneously as appropriate. Verify revision levels on router blueprints and other appropriate documentation. Change and touch-off inserts, drills, boring bars, etc. when needed and return all usable tooling to the tool crib. Recycle all Carbide tooling. Troubleshoot any production issue with respect to machining and getting assistance as needed for program and other related issues. Engage in established TPM (Total productive Maintenance) daily such as adding hydraulic oil, lube oil, and or cutting fluids to the machine(s) as needed. Make appropriate offsets and or speed and feed adjustments to program as required to maintain quality products. Follow all safety policies and practices and stop work if continuing to do so is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately to lead(s), supervisor(s), manager(s), and or resident EHS Coordinator. Perform all other tasks as assigned by the departmental supervisor(s) and or Lead(s).Who you are:

For this role, you will need:
Knowledge of CNC machine(s) setup. Operate all aspects of the machines; (powering machines up and down, machining cycles (including op stop(s), program stop) bar feed operation, restarts, faults, etc.) Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment. Ability to communicate with leads, supervisors or other set-up personnel on quality issues or concerns, as well as potentials for production efficiency improvements. Act with the utmost integrity, professionalism, and positive attitude. High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of one (1) experience as a Conventional Machinist I and or entry level CNC machining position. Intermediate Shop Math. Intermediate blueprint reading. Experience using Calipers, Micrometers, Height Stands, Depth and Bore Gages etc. Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerance.
