Machinist\nLevel 1
As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our\nmachining processes, ensuring efficient and high-quality production. You will\noperate and maintain various machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to\nfabricate precision parts according to specifications. Your attention to detail\nand technical skills will contribute to the success of our manufacturing\noperations.
You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and work out of our\nMuncie, Indiana location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our machining\nprocesses, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate and maintain machines, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to\nfabricate precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to\ndetermine machining operations.
• Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain\nquality and productivity.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure\nconformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience as a machinist or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of machining processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
