As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Aerospace Technologies (AERO) business unit. You will be accountable for operating and maintaining various machines to produce precision parts and components for aerospace applications. Your expertise in machining will contribute to the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications and industry standards.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location.

\n

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, ensuring the timely delivery of quality products to our customers. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nSet up and operate various machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines\nRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions\nPerform precision machining operations to produce parts within specified tolerances\nInspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments\nTroubleshoot and resolve machining issues to ensure smooth operations\nWork with cross-functional teams to optimize machining processes\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality\n\n

\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment\nProficiency in operating and programming CNC machines\nStrong knowledge of machining processes and techniques\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings\nProficiency in using precision measuring instruments\n\n
