The primary responsibility will involve applying appropriate machining processes to repair pumps and rotating equipment, following the guidelines specified by work orders, blueprints, sketches, or charts. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate and tend various machine tools, including lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders. + Machine metalwork according to production specifications and requirements. + Perform repairs on pumps and rotating equipment, adhering to specified work orders, blueprints, sketches, or charts. + Follow established quality and safety procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations. + Capable of effectively operating all machines within the facility, undertaking millwright work as needed. + Interpret and understand complicated drawings and specifications. + Utilize shop arithmetic and demonstrate proficiency in the use of scales, protractors, squares, and precision principles. + Manufacture repairs that comply with required tolerances. + Demonstrate discipline in adhering to all procedures and guidelines. + Apply mastery of skills in machining and millwright work. + Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, and materials to meet special project needs. **Qualifications:** + High proficiency in operating a variety of machine tools, particularly lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and grinders. + Previous experience in machining and millwright work is required. + Familiarity with interpreting and understanding complicated drawings and specifications. + Solid knowledge of shop arithmetic and the use of scales, protractors, squares, and precision principles. + Ability to manufacture repairs that meet specified tolerances. + Strong adherence to procedures and safety guidelines. + Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle unique project requirements. + Prior experience with pump and rotating equipment repairs is a plus. **Pay:** 20+ pay will be commensurate with experience.
