Summary: Seeking a Senior Machinist for 2nd shift with expertise in CNC operations, particularly on lathes and mills, to contribute to productivity and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years experience with CNC machines including Okuma, Nakamura, and Haas. Proficiency in operating 5-axis and turret machines. Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and follow verbal instructions. Knowledge of machine shop mathematics, potentially including trigonometry.

Preferred Skills:

Aerospace industry experience.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate production machines from blueprints or sketches. Perform machine operations such as cutting, shaping, and drilling parts. Inspect parts using measuring instruments for conformance to specifications. Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform statistical process control tasks. Participate in lean initiatives by suggesting improvements.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
