The MRI technologists work collaboratively within the Imaging team and amongst varying levels of clinical practitioners. This is a Weekend Overnight **Baylor** 0.9 FTE position and phenomenal ADIT benefits are available! **Schedule** **:** This position will be working (48 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the weekend day/evening shift, **Saturday and Sunday 7:00PM - 7:00AM.** **Benefits** **:** This position is eligible for ADIT benefits. Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional Participates in creating a culture of patient safety Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness Verify patient identification and documentation Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures Ensures patient data integrity Adheres to radiologic safety guidelines and diagnostic testing protocols/procedures Accurately documents in compliance with regulatory agency requirements, completes computer functions, edits, scheduling, and billing status changes Follows infection control guidelines Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members Responds appropriately to emergent situations Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution Completed all require continuing education to uphold their imaging licensure Participates as an active team member Participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position Cleans and maintains room and supplies Provides integrated services with customers and care partners to ensure high quality care. Correctly operates equipment according to accepted standards and guidelines Identifies and responds to equipment problems to ensure equipment is working properly.
