Mail Service Associate

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n

\u2022 Receive mail at mail room from USPS letter carrier and sign for express, registered and certified mail.
\u2022 Receive FedEx, UPS and Messenger packages at mailroom.
\u2022 Sort incoming mail and place mail into file cabinet\/folders for members to be pick up.
\u2022 Process incoming couriers packages via Internal Tracking System, label and place on racks for members to be pick up.
\u2022 Receive incoming messenger packages and call members to pick up.
\u2022 Physically deliver mail and courier packages by cart, dolly or hand truck to members as requested by select members if possible.
\u2022 Receive outgoing mail (letters and parcels) and place on rack for pick up
\u2022 Receive outgoing UPS & FedEx packages and place on rack for pick up
\u2022 Process outgoing UPS packages via Shipping System and place on rack for pick up.
\u2022 Receive outgoing messenger items from members and hold in mailroom for messenger pick up.
\u2022 Place large items in storage room and coordinate with members for pick up
\u2022 Answer members email regarding mail and packages.
\u2022 Provide customer service.
\u2022 Sends monthly reports timely and accurately.
\u2022 Send out emails to members to retrieve their packages.
\u2022 Call members to retrieve their items.
\u2022 Completes other tasks\/duties as assigned by TMG management\n

QUALIFICATIONS:\n

\u2022 HS Diploma or equivalency required; higher education preferred
\u2022 Minimum 1 years experience preferred in customer service or customer facing, professional environment
\u2022 Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams
\u2022 MUST possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task efficiently
\u2022 Must be adaptable to a dynamic environment while possessing strong interpersonal skills
\u2022 Excellent written, oral, and verbal customer service skills
\u2022 Able to learn new skills quickly
\u2022 Flexible and able to juggle multiple, and at times, conflicting priorities
\u2022 Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
\u2022 Able to remain diplomatic in stressful situations; team oriented and has the capacity to build strong working relationships both within the team and with external stakeholders\/customers
\u2022 Maintains confidentiality while working with highly sensitive materials
\u2022 Punctual, dependable, and dedicated to achieving operational excellence
\u2022 Maintain a consistently professional approach, with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility
\u2022 Able to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and\/or sit for extended periods of time
\u2022 Able to lift or move 40lbs or greater at times
