The Office Service Associate will Operate and Manage the Mailroom. Responsibilities include the following:
\u2022 Receive and Deliver incoming mail and packages
\u2022 Sort interoffice and USPS mail
\u2022 Process Accountable Mail using Bear Tracks system
\u2022 Process outgoing packages via UPS\/FedEx
\u2022 Perform mail\/package deliveries within the building
\u2022 Look up and research unidentified mail recipients
\u2022 Provide exceptional Customer Service and Customer Experience
\u2022 Daily input of volumes\/EOM volume input
\u2022 Document daily volume reports\n

Office Service Associates will also serve as a resource for the concierge staff and Allstate management team. Responsibilities include the following, based on location specific requirements:
\u2022 Providing some concierge support as a backup
\u2022 Monitoring the office space
\u2022 Ensuring meeting rooms are set up
\u2022 Checking to ensure that AV and caf\u00e9 equipment is functioning and that supplies are stocked
\u2022 Managing incoming office mail
\u2022 Respond to facilities related issues (e.g. lighting, HVAC, furniture repairs, fire extinguishers and AED replacement needs) by communicating with property manager or Allstate facilities management
\u2022 May include minor technology installations and moving of desks and equipment as needed
\u2022 Working as a team player to achieve objectives and meet defined service levels
\u2022 In Chicago, will travel between local sites as needed\n

The Office Service Associate will be expected to have the following skills and abilities:
\u2022 Excellent customer service and people skills: Acting as the face of Client's facilities management team in the office space, engaging with employees and guests and offering helpful solutions
\u2022 Communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of Allstate management
\u2022 Creative problem-solving and resourcefulness in finding solutions to new or complex problems
\u2022 Flexibility, adaptability to shift to new priorities as issues come up
\u2022 Excellent organizational skills
