Mail Services Associate

Responsibilities:\n

\u2022 Maintaining quality customer service by providing friendly and responsive processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other shipments.
\u2022 Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.
\u2022 Aide personnel with packing needs and answering questions and\/or concerns.
\u2022 Utilize handheld scanners to deliver packages and obtain proof of delivery.
\u2022 Researching incoming mail, packages, and other shipments addressed to unknown or unrecognizable recipients.
\u2022 Maintain activity data in appropriate logs.
\u2022 Prepare and process outbound courier\/freight shipments using computer equipment.
\u2022 Interact with fellow employees in a professional and respectful manner.
\u2022 Ensure the cleanliness and safety concerns of all operating spaces and associated areas.
\u2022 Cross-training and backup of other employees in the event of emergency or contingency situations.
\u2022 Possess the ability to be flexible and adapt to change in the work environment.
\u2022 Completing other tasks assigned by the Manager\/Site Lead.

Qualifications:\n

\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent
\u2022 Ability to lift 50 lbs.
\u2022 Strong written and communication skills.
\u2022 Minimum 1-year experience in shipping\/receiving preferred.
\u2022 Proficiency in MS-Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
\u2022 Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team player and service oriented.
\u2022 Able to handle multiple projects at one time with attention to detail.
\u2022 Punctual and reliable.
