Our client, an International distributor is looking for 3rd Shift Mail Sorters in Rock Hill, SC to join their team. In this role, responsibilities will involve repetitive tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking throughout your shift to sort mail, scan packages, and maintain the smooth flow of operations.

Your Day:

Loading and unloading boxes of items from trucks, trailers, or other vehiclesOrganizing or rearranging items by type or categoryPreparing items for shipping by labeling boxes with shipping information, packing items into boxes, and applying postageKeeping records of items shipped and received, including tracking numbers and dates of shipmentsReading shipping orders and identifying items to be shippedCommunicating with customers about issues with shipments and processing refunds or exchanges

About You:

High School DiplomaAbility to work as a team with other sortersMust be reliable & punctualPrevious warehouse experience is a plus, but not requiredHave good communication and problem-solving skillsYou must be physically fit to work for long hours without breaks (7- 10 hrs, depending on workload)

Pay Rate and Shift:

Monday to Friday6:00 PM until finished$17.50 /hr

Sorters typically receive on-the-job training from their supervisors or managers. This training may include learning how to use the company’s computer systems and software, as well as how to properly sort and organize items. Training may also include how to safely lift and move items, how to clean the facility, and how to interact with customers.
