Main Duties and Responsibilities:\n
\n\nSorts and delivers incoming mail by department and\/or employee to ensure timely distribution.\nSorts and delivers interdepartmental mail including notices and memoranda.\nPicks up departmental mail.\nOperates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine.\nProcesses and weighs outgoing mail.\nMaintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information.\nReplenishes postage on the postage meter as needed.\nStocks supplies needed for the mailroom.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nDrive mailroom vehicle to and from post office and other nearby campuses\nManage mailroom email inbox\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nGood communication skills.\nBasic understanding of operating instructions and processes for machines.\nBasic understanding of or the ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company.\nBasic understanding of postage rates and regulations.\nAbility to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of mail.\nAbility to understand and follow written and oral instructions.\nAbility to complete projects in a timely manner.\n\n

Education and Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nExperience in a related area preferred but not required\n\n

Physical Requirements:\n\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.\nMust be able to traverse office facilities to pick up mail.\n
