Job Description
The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for sorting, processing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail within the organization. This role ensures that all mail is handled efficiently and accurately, supporting the smooth flow of communications.
ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.Prepare and process outgoing mail, including weighing packages and calculating postage.Maintain and organize mailroom supplies and equipment.Track and log incoming and outgoing mail.Assist with other clerical duties as needed, such as filing and data entry.Essential SkillsProficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook.Strong organizational and sorting skills.Experience in administrative assistance and data entry.2+ years of mailroom experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to grow within the role.Competitive salary.Work Environment
The position is a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch break. The work environment is a cubical setting with roughly 15 coordinators on the team. The role requires comfort with going to the post office once a day, approximately 0.5 miles away, to pick up mail.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
