Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mailroom Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily mail operations, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining communication with internal departments. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assist with return mail sorting, opening, updating, and scanning daily.Process affidavit and hearing requests via email.Enter data into the system as received and update requests as they are made.Receive mail every day, sort it, and distribute it to the correct departments.Communicate via email with internal departments only.Submit reports daily and weekly.Scan and process Florida documents daily.Notify the Mail Operations Supervisor of escalated issues in a timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned and/or in the absence of the Mail Operations Supervisor.Essential Skills2+ years of mail room/data entry experience.Experience in mailroom or document processing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree preferred.Experience with Outlook and Excel.Strong accuracy and attention to detail.Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Initiative and strong communication skills.Excellent organization and time management skills.Teamwork and collaboration skills.Accountability and reliability with attendance and punctuality.Work Environment

This is a fully onsite role requiring the handling of daily mail. The work environment is business casual, with a small mailroom team working independently and reporting to the Mailroom Supervisor. The office has about 50 total employees. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $17.00/hr.
