Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Maintains the hospital buildings in a safe, inhabitable and workable condition relative to heat, light, power, air conditioning and other broad environmental factors. With minimal supervision is responsible for installation, renovation, alteration, and repair, overhauling, replacement, cleaning and preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, and mechanical equipment. Performs shift duties and maintenance duties as circumstances, situations, scheduling and staffing levels require.

REQUIREMENTS Preferred High School Diploma 4-7 years Minimum of three years under the direction and supervision of a HVACR master or licensed contractor is required. State of Maryland HVACR Journeyman license preferred. If a Journeyman license is not held, must have a State of Maryland HVACR Apprenticeship license. Prefer at least three years of experience within an industrial, commercial or hospital/healthcare HVAC field. Preferred HVAC - HVAC
