Job Role Summary

Mainframe AMS Solution Architect leverages knowledge of Mainframe Application Architecture, Programming languages, Databases, File Systems, OLTP, Testing, DevOps and Security to help document, shape and direct the Mainframe Application roadmap for Ensono and our Clients. Work directly with Customer IT Senior executives to address Mainframe application technology gaps,suggest new technologies transformation methodologies to meet the Customer business needs.

Provide fully costed solution architecture to deliver customer Mainframe Application Managed Services including the Operations,Maintenace,Enhancements,Testing,DBA and Code Promotion activities.

 

Job Description

Mainframe AMS Solution Architect should have

15+ years of experience as a Mainframe AMS Solution Architect (understand customer problems and devise solutions) Strong analytical skills to analyse Mainframe Incident data and Application volumetrics Prior experience on effort estimation and Proposal creation for AMS Opportunities Adoption of Automation for productivity improvement Year Over Year Prior experience of working/leading the Mainframe AMS Delivery Projects Responsible for authoring the responses for RFIs and RFPs Established strength of being able to engage with clients and communicate effectively as a subject matter expert Prior experience of working with a system integrator and building solution offerings is a plus Hands – on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessions Ability to interlock, understand and engage with various senior executives of Ensono and Clients to create value prop, content and assets to drive Mainframe Solutions up to winning deals.

Qualification 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 15 to 20 years of Experience as a Mainframe AMS Solution Architect. Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management Good creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks Ability to lead and work in a team environment Willingness to travel
