Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mainframe JCL Analyst with strong exposure to JCL, ISPF, and mainframe operations. This role is part of a Service Management Team supporting non-production environments, focusing on batch job control, incident handling, and environment availability. This is not a development or debugging role but requires familiarity with mainframe tools and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain JCL scripts for batch job execution.
• Operate within TSO/ISPF for job monitoring and file management.
• Support non-production environments, including shakeouts and availability reporting.
• Handle non-prod batch management using Ctrl-M.
• Participate in incident management and ITIL-based service processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth batch operations.
• Contribute to the creation of operating models and frameworks for service delivery.
Required Skills:
• JCL (Job Control Language) – Must Have
• TSO/ISPF – Good to Have
• Basic understanding of mainframe architecture – Good to Have
• Incident management knowledge – Preferred
• ITIL experience or training – Preferred
• Ctrl-M for batch scheduling – Preferred
• Basic AWS Cloud exposure – Nice to Have
Preferred Tools & Technologies:
• COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM
• SDSF, z/OS tools
• Plutora, UCD, ALM, Microfocus Service Virtualization, Delphix
• ServiceNow & JIRA for issue tracking
Shift Schedule: 6:00AM - 4:00PM PHST
Work Set up: Hybrid
Number of days in a month or week that needs to be in the office: 2x a week only
